3 Days & Counting

We're down to 3 days and I haven't started packing yet - guess I'd better get into gear. Olga and I are going to do our shopping today - gotta make sure we have lots of water, sodas and munchies - plus assorted other car essentials. She also will be test driving my car today - I drive an Expedition, she drives a Civic - BIG difference. I want her to get the feel of the car before we get on the road - she'll do just fine.

About My Trip

Hi Everyone...

By now you all know that I am going on a long overdue sabbatical trip. I will be driving cross country with my friend Olga. We will be leaving Folsom, CA on Sept 2 and plan to sightsee in the following areas - Palm Springs, Flagstaff/Grand Canyon, Albuquerque/Santa Fe, Memphis, St. Louis, Nashville, Asheville NC, Virgina/DC.

After our trek, Olga will be meeting another friend (Kathy) in New York City. They will tour the city for about a week, then head to Boston and Cape Cod for another week of fun. They will fly home. I will be staying with family in Pennsylvania for about 3 weeks, then head back to California - hopefully via northern route - weather permitting.
